Senior Finance Manager Retail Operations

Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Guide operations, HR, and property leaders with crystal-clear financial insights, spotting risks and opportunities before they bite.
- Deliver timely, accurate reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, plus drive corrective action where needed.
- Lead planning and forecasting processes to balance risk with opportunity across the business.
- Manage and mentor the operations finance team, fostering high-quality work and strong results.
- Support new store feasibility studies, pharmacy acquisitions, and business case development.
- Safeguard profitability and company assets through robust financial governance.
- CA(SA) qualification.
- 10+ years in finance, preferably within large-scale or listed retail operations.
- Proven track record partnering with operations, HR, or property teams.
- Leadership experience essential.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Excellent communicator and presenter.
- Advanced Excel.
- Comfortable with ERP/BI systems (SAP/BI a major plus).
- Naturally organized, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Strong leadership presence.
