Role Description:



The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

This position requires an individual who is highly motivated and able to handle a fast-moving, dynamic organisation, who is constantly looking to improve and grow. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer, to ensure operational efficiency is optimised, departments are driven to automation; and areas of cost saving, innovation and revenue generation are unlocked.

The Senior Finance Manager will also oversee the sales enablement department. The individual must be able to provide strategic direction, as well as oversee the practical day-to-day management of the storeroom, dispatching and receiving activities, vehicle maintenance, fuel management, repairs, vehicle roadworthy compliance and internal policy compliance. They will also be responsible for integration and disposal of newly acquired vehicles, seamlessly into the fleet.



Key Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks:



Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. Conduct variance analysis to provide insights on financial performance. Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting process, including developing financial models and scenario analysis. Monitor financial performance against the budget and provide monthly forecasts. Provide strategic input to improve cost efficiencies and revenue growth.

Internal Controls & Compliance

Maintain strong internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure financial integrity. Oversee compliance with tax, legal, and statutory obligations (e.g., VAT, income tax). Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to ensure full compliance.

Cash Flow Management

Manage and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital. Oversee the treasury functions, including banking relationships and funding strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure team members are aligned with financial goals and have the tools and training to succeed.

Process Improvement

Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement automation tools and accounting software upgrades where necessary.

Strategic Business Partnering

Partner with key business leaders to provide financial insights that drive decision-making. Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy development.

Sales Enablement

Monitor the allocation and utilisation of infield marketing assets. Plan stock quantities departmental requirements and manage stock returned process Oversee and manage the procurement of accommodation Ensure the sales teams have adequate accommodation within budget Approve accommodation spend based on distribution lists Review and analyse accommodation spend, identifying key areas to optimise and improve on. Oversee and manage the procurement of sales incentives Provide communication to agents on their performance during the month Manage and oversee FMR, fuel cards and roadside assistance facilities. Manage and oversee fleet allocation and utilisation. Manage departmental staff, including training requirements, performance, discipline, and timekeeping Supplier relationship building and management.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred). Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA or equivalent certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management roles. Strong understanding of IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Sage). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing finance teams. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
