Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals and objectives. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making. Oversee the company's budgeting and forecasting processes. Manage financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, quarterly reports, and annual audits. Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to optimize financial performance. Monitor and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Establish and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members.

Qualifications:

CA (SA) essential. Minimum of 5 to 8 years senior finance manager experience. IFRS17 is essential. Financial services experience is essential. Proven track record of success in a financial leadership role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively lead and manage a team. Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements. Experience with financial planning and analysis software. * Strong organizational and time management skills.
