Senior Finance Manager, Gqeberha

Job Description
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Qualified CA (SA) or equivalent qualification who is highly proficient in financial modelling and valuations
- Must have a deep understanding of accounting standards (IFRS) and a proven ability to manage complex administrative and audit processes
- 5+ years post article experience in a similar hands-on role within an investment holding or multi-entity company
- A background in which the candidate was directly responsible for detailed financial processes is crucial
Oversight and governance (internal and external) :
- Internal audit - lead audit function; approve audit plan; actively manage process; review findings; ensure weaknesses are rectified
- External audit - oversight; detailed review and ownership of audit files; handle queries
- Administration - oversee and involved in detailed administration of corporate governance
- Detailed review - financial report review; analysis of all management accounts & board packs
- Analysis - in depth financial analysis and offer insights to CFO
- Hands on valuations - building and refining business valuation models
- Due diligence - actively lead the financial due diligence process; examine financial reports and data rooms; identify potential risks
