Senior Field Engineer - Bloemfontein

We are a Solutions based company specialising in Networking and Security Solutions in the Corporate sector and we are looking for a Senior Field Engineer in the Bloemfontein area with experience and a good understanding of Networking, Wireless Networking and infrastructure as well as CCTV Cameras.

The Senior Field Engineer can expect to perform tasks assigned by the Operations Manager daily, tasks will include planning, tool control, installations, technical support and Routine maintenance.

To be a successful Candidate you should have the ability to work in a high-pressure environment, perform and implement the project plan in timelines provided, have broad knowledge and experience of Networking, wireless Networking, CCTV Solutions and have good time-management skills and also be willing to travel for periods of time, work on heights.

4. Administrative Responsibilities

Duties:

1. Technical Duties:

Planning and installing well-functioning computers, VOIP and CCTV Networks.

Planning and installing well-functioning Wireless Networks.

Planning and Installing networking infrastructure.

Identifying issues and shortcomings and rectifying the issues.

Providing quality control checks and performance tests.

Performing remote and onsite support to clients.

Perform Routine Maintenance on Networks and Camera Systems.

Upkeep of In-House Technical Systems.

All relevant technical requests and duties.

2. Administrative Duties:

Job card documenting and completion.

Reporting back on job completion and providing relevant documentation and photos.

Time Management and Progress Reporting.

Requirements and Skills:

Minimum qualification Grade 12 Certificate required.

Advanced Wired Networking, Wireless Networking Knowledge.

Advanced Knowledge of Analog and IP CCTV Systems.

Relevant technical certificates.

3 Years' Experience of Technical role in a Networking, Wireless Networking and CCTV Security environment.

Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
