Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a dynamic Senior Facilities Manager to oversee service delivery at the Department of Basic Education site, ensuring alignment with PPP Agreement standards and driving operational performance.

Duties & Responsibilities



Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all facilities activities. Manage emergency response procedures and ensure readiness. Coordinate and oversee building maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure service quality and compliance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Manage and monitor the performance of service providers and contractors. Ensure that all services are delivered in line with the SLA and contractual requirements. Lead and manage site operations to meet contractual and service level requirements. Ensure compliance with PPP Agreement output specifications and ISO standards. Oversee staff structures, training, and succession planning in line with BEE and HR policies. Build strong client relationships and ensure proactive communication. Manage health & safety, risk, and emergency readiness across the site. Monitor financial performance and ensure budget adherence (OPEX & CAPEX). Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.

Skills & Knowledge

Understanding of PPP models and agreements Knowledge of HR, IR, procurement, and finance processes Strong reporting and contractor management skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)

Facilities and property management expertise Budgeting and financial oversight Contractor and supplier management Health & safety compliance and risk management Project planning and execution Technical report writing and documentation

Qualifications



Qualifications:




Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Facilities or Property Management

Experience:




5-10 years in Facilities, Property, or Project Management Proven leadership in a management role Strong financial and business acumen * Experience with SLA and commercial agreement management
