Senior Estimator / QC - DurbanWith offices, warehouses, and terminals at strategic locations across the globe in more than 50 countries and with over 5,500 skilled and experienced employees, Steinweg is well-equipped to handle a wide range of cargo and commodities.Key tasks & responsibilitiesOur Pricing team is seeking a Senior Estimator/QC to manage and control the logistics pricing processes in accordance with business and stakeholder requirements.Job SummaryAttend to internal & external client requests for rates & quotationsMaintain & build on relationships with internal & external service providersEnsure that estimates, tenders are submitted within the stipulated timelinesEnsure accuracy with respect to all estimates submittedEnsure that pricing submitted is consistent with the scope of services requestedQuality Checking and Approval of EstimatesProviding Support to Internal DepartmentsResolving of QueriesQualificationsMatric xe2x80x93 Grade 12.Relevant Degree / DiplomaExperience+5 years of Pricing Experience (Sea freight Import / Export / Cross Trades / Breakbulk xe2x80x93 Transport Local / Over Border).Proficiency in Incoterms.Sound knowledge of Sea freight and Road freight processes.Able to Supervise and Quality Check Estimates.CargoWise One experience is advantageous.SkillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy.Computer literacy in MS Office Suite.Excellent verbal and written communication.Customer centricity.Interested?Please send your CV to recruitment@za.steinweg.com
