Job Purpose

Qualifications & Experience
Matric
Customs Affairs Course or equivalent
Forwarding course or equivalent would be an advantage
5 years Industry related experience
Key Responsibilities
Prepare draft Bill of Entry on Compu-Clearing (CCL) and Cargowise
Receive clearing files/instructions from Business Units/Client
Verify accuracy on clearing documentation
Batch import files in preparation for EDI upload
Facilitate release of Customs Stop/Detain including other third party release
* Liaise with relevant parties to obtain final release
