Senior Engineering Manager
Job Description
One of our top mining clients in Mpumalanga is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager.
Experience Required:
Minimum 15 years progressive experience in the Mining sector, with substantial engineering leadership in underground operations
Professional registration with a recognized engineering body
In-depth knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and engineering best practices
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills capable of motivating a diverse technical team
Strong project and budget management experience.
Proficiency with engineering tools and software for analysis, planning, and performance tracking.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Qualifications:
NQF Level8: Bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA/MBL) advantageous
Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) Mines and Works
