Overview
Senior Engineer
Hire Resolvexe2x80x99s client is looking for a Senior Engineer / Technologist to join their team in Umhlanga, Durban.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all project stages from inception layouts to close out engineering designs
- Ensure that BOQs, estimates and specifications are in line with the applicable design standards
- Inspecting completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards
- Plan, perform, and coordinate advanced level professional and technical engineering studies, computations, drawings, reports and surveys
- Study and assess drawings, plans, specifications, and other documents relating to projects
- Determine budget, project schedules and scope of work and deploy appropriate staff
- Direct, lead, train and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects
- Lead and direct onsite engineering teams
- BSc or BTech Qualification
- ECSA Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
- Minimum 15 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Consulting Engineering Firm
- Technical knowledge of drawing and design processes
- All round Civil experience (Bulk Earthworks, Road, Sewer, Water)
