Minimum: National Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering.
Preferred: Degree in electronics/Instrumentation/electrical engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience in automation and electronics engineering maintenance. Preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the tire industry.
Certifications/Training:
Minimum: Basic and Intermediate training on Allen-Bradley or Mitsubishi PLC, HMI & VFD systems.
Language Skills:
Minimum: English.
Preferred: Proficient in English.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Reading and modifying electrical/electronic circuit diagrams.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
Ability to design and modify PLC programs, HMI visuals, and VFD Programs.
Replacement of faulty electronics components.
Configuration, programming & maintenance of Allen-Bradley & Mitsubishi PLC, VFD, and HMI.
Working knowledge of GE iFiX SCADA programming.
