Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept to completion. This includes power distribution, lighting design, fire detection, standby generation, and other building-related electrical systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create specifications of electrical building services systems in accordance with relevant standards and client requirements
- Project coordination and liaison with multidisciplinary teams, Architects, and contractors
- Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports
- Support project delivery within agreed time-frames and budgets
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and sustainable practices
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 35 years of experience in electrical building services design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant calculation software (e.g., Dialux, Relux, and Amtech)
- Strong understanding of SANS, IEC, and other relevant standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- ECSA registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) is advantageous
