Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description
Education:
- Engineer / Technologist / Certified Technician in the fields of Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical engineering or similar
- At least 3 5 years experience as Electrical Engineer
- Must be willing to travel
- Have basic knowledge of CAD software.
- Knowledge of generator controllers
The candidate will be exposed to a greater electrical design and installation field that includes turnkey projects. They include but are not limited to;
- Designing of generator energy plants
- Construct layout drawings using CAD
- Construct control schematics using E-PLAN
- Implement control schematics to newly constructed generators.
- Order control & power components using online applications.
- Travel to sites for costing, fault investigation, & commissioning.
- Generator controller programming
- Generator control fault finding
- Project management
- PLC programming (optional)
- The above items also include the same duties but for Solar PV plants & Rotary UPS plants.
