Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description
Collaborate with customers to identify and prioritize design resource allocation effectively.
Utilize your expertise in Electrical Wiring Design (2D, 3D, Schematics) and Control Module integration for cutting-edge solutions.
Ensure designs comply with customer requirements and engineering standards.
Lead internal design reviews to verify soundness and compliance before customer presentation.
Perform CAD designs, including 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and bill of materials management.
Maintain the customer product sales option matrix for streamlined sales processes.
Offer production support, addressing custom order engineering inquiries seamlessly.
Manage both medium to long-term design projects and short-term priority projects.
Delegate engineering tasks and guide engineers on technical matters.
Monitor project and task timelines, ensuring timely milestones and effective communication for non-compliance planning.
Conduct design reviews with customers and suppliers, fostering effective collaborations.
Skills & Experience:
At least 10 years of engineering design experience, preferably wiring design and controller integration in an electrical design environment.
Willing to travel internationally for variable periods depending on the needs at that time.
Qualification:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
