Job Summary ? Senior Duty Manager - Luxury Lodge | Eastern Cape ? Location: Eastern Cape ? Role Type: Full-time ? Package: R16,000 - R18,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and dynamic Senior Duty Manager to join a luxury hotel group in the Eastern Cape. This role is ideal for a guest-focused hospitality professional with bush experience, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a high-end lodge environment. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership Oversee day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless guest experiences Supervise and support staff across all operational areas, including Front Office and Food & Beverage Maintain operational standards ; including health, safety, and hygiene protocols Support revenue-generating activities and ensure compliance with property procedures and policies Guest Experience & Service Excellence Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively addressing enquiries, requests, and complaints Act as a point of contact for VIP guests and special requests Assist with bush operations where applicable, providing engaging and memorable experiences Team Leadership & Development Mentor junior staff, fostering teamwork; engagement, and professional development Lead by example and promote a guest-centric culture across the lodge Requirements: Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury hotel or lodge environment Bush experience and understanding of lodge operations highly desirable Some Food & Beverage experience advantageous Strong guest-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence Mature; reliable, and able to lead by example Willingness to live on-site and work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays What Is On Offer: Competitive; negotiable salary based on experience Live-on accommodation Opportunity to contribute to exceptional guest experiences at a prestigious luxury lodge Hands-on; supportive team environment in a bush/luxury setting
