Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing architectural and technical drawings, with a strong understanding of building design principles, construction methods, and industry standards. This role requires advanced CAD skills, creativity, precision, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed architectural and technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar CAD software. Develop 2D and 3D designs from sketches, specifications, and design concepts provided by architects, engineers, or clients. Interpret and translate complex architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and documentation. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations. Revise and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, or project developments. Maintain organized drawing files and document control for all design work. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements. Stay informed about the latest CAD software advancements, architectural trends, and drafting techniques. Assist in the preparation of design presentations, reports, and technical documentation when required. Complete all work accurately and within specified deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Draughtsman, with proven expertise in architectural design and detailing. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp (or similar CAD software). Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and building materials. Excellent visualization and technical drawing skills. Ability to interpret and produce complex architectural and structural drawings. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Design, or Engineering (Diploma or Degree preferred)
