Job Description
A preeminent retailer in South Africa, known for valuing honesty and inclusivity, is seeking a Senior Developer to join their collaborative, innovative, and independent team!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the in-house development team.
- Rewrite existing ETLs using Python.
- Oversee migration from legacy systems to low-code platforms.
- Create and update process documentation.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Develop and support software, including applications, databases, and new features.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and compliance standards.
- Support, test, and deploy new products and features.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of Python experience
- 5+ years of PHP experience
- 5+ years of experience with Django
- Experience with C#
- Experience with Linux
- 3-year Bachelor's Degree in Information Science or Computer Science or related fields
