Senior Data Engineer
Job Description
A prominent South African pharmaceutical company, specializing in a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter medication in looking for a Senior Data Engineer. Please note that this role is fully in-office.
Skills Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
Mandatory: 5+ years in data engineering, with experience in data warehouse design and development.
Strong hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL processes.
Strong SQL skills (T-SQL preferred)
Proven expertise in Azure Data Platform components (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Data Lake Storage).
Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
Experience with data modeling (Kimball/Star Schema/Snowflake).
