Job Summary

They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team on a fully remote basis. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure in a cloud-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and architectures.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security practices are upheld throughout the data lifecycle.
Optimize database performance and query execution on large datasets.
Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Python, SQL, and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
Expertise in working with large-scale data systems such as Spark, Kafka, or Snowflake.
Deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
