Job Description

EC Security Services is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and driven Senior Creditors Officer to assume full responsibility for managing and overseeing the companys creditors function. This is a critical role requiring a high level of integrity, accuracy, and leadership in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management of the creditors function, including oversight of all supplier accounts
• Accurate processing, verification, and reconciliation of supplier invoices and statements
• Preparation of monthly payment runs in line with cash flow forecasting and supplier terms
• Maintenance and oversight of the full creditors age analysis, ensuring timely and correct payments
• Implementation and enforcement of internal controls and process improvements
• Direct communication and dispute resolution with suppliers

• Produce monthly reporting for executive review
• Assist in cost analysis related to supplier expenses

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with Accounting (essential)
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping (NQF Level 6 or higher)
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in a senior creditors or accounts payable role
• Solid experience with accounting systems such as Sage Evolution or equivalent ERP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills
• Strong communication, time management, and conflict resolution capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume transactions

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in a corporate environment with complex supplier structures
• Experience in the security or service industry
