Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and financial records of the organisation.
Maintain (and mentor) knowledge of financial policies, practices, and regulations.
Ensure compliance with IFRS.
Compile, analyse and report financial data, monitoring and reporting on inconsistencies.
Review month-end inventory & costing reconciliations and resolve reconciling issues.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including accounting packs.
Manage Unit invoicing process, ensuring all revenue is correctly recorded.
Manage APDP claims process and communicate with external parties on all claim related deliverables.
Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard cost to actual production cost.
Provide management with reports, specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products and services.
Conduct monthly variance reporting, analyse costs, and recommend cost savings.
Oversee physical inventories and monitor cycle count programme.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasting, and monitoring of variances.
Support decision-making by provision of accurate financial information to management.
Support completion of internal and external audits as the key liaison for all costing related matters
Assist with general ad hoc financial duties as requested
