Job Description
We are currently seeking a Control Room Operator to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct structured shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
Ensure security officers are posted and special duties are attended to.
Make a note of defective equipment in the OB when handing over.
Planning and organizing staff shift rotations.
Assist supervisors with the special duty requests as per SOP.
Booking on and off duty of security guards.
Posting to be done accurately
Accurately log all incidents, requests, and system anomalies.
Ensure clear, concise, and professional communication during incidents
Ensure all incidents are recorded in the OB.
Maintain site reports and hourly monitoring patrols
Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and operational SOPs
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Follow established escalation procedures and compliance regulations
Ad-hoc duties
Skills & Requirements:
In possession of a valid PSIRA Certification
Minimum of 2 years control room operator experience
Attention to detail
Able to multitask
Able to communicate effectively
Good report writing skills
Able to work well under pressure
Candidates should be willing to work shifts
