Your responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior C&I Engineer with a strong design house background to join our innovative Control & Instrumentation team within an established EPC environment. This role offers the unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects as we expand our footprint in the green energy sector.


The successful candidate will be required to fulfill the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

Lead the execution of C&I scope across EPC and EPCM projects, emphasizing sustainable and environmentally focused design solutions. Work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing project schedules and budgets efficiently. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Develop advanced control system designs, including control narratives and shutdown systems, tailored for renewable and sustainable energy applications. Prepare field instrumentation documentationincluding data sheets, loop drawings, and bills of quantitiessupporting eco-friendly project goals. Design communication systems for control networks that integrate with green energy infrastructure. Develop and document fire and gas detection systems with a focus on process safety in sustainable environments

Your profile

The successful candidate must be in possession of a:

BSc / B.Eng. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering degree Be registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). The candidate must be experienced in the following fields:
+ At least 10 years specific C&I design experience with minimum 6 years in the Oil & Gas environment.
+ Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards
