SUMMARY:
-POSITION INFO:A Top 5 South African coal producer driving sustainable energy solutions through mining and renewables. Pioneers in resource innovation with a focus on ESG compliance and supplier development.Purpose of the Role: Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management for mining construction projects while supporting capital sourcing strategies. Ensure regulatory compliance (Mining Charter, BBBEE), cost optimization, and supplier performance in a high-stakes procurement environment.Employment Type: Limited duration contract, ending 31 Mar 2026Requirements:

• BCom with a commercial or legal background (Essential)
• 3-5 years experience in contract management, procurement, or supply chain on mining construction project's
• Proven experience in contractual claims management and construction-based procurement
• Familiarity with MS Office, databases, and contract management systems
• Ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts and SLAs

• Full contract lifecycle management: drafting, negotiation, monitoring, renewal, and termination
• Compile and issue RFQs, adjudicate tenders, and support procurement processes
• Ensure compliance with SLPs, BBBEE, Mining Charter, and internal governance
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage contractual obligations and disputes
• Drive cost-savings initiatives and supplier development programs
• Administer reporting on contract KPIs and performance metrics
• Contribute to functional and process excellence initiatives
• Participate in capital project planning and sourcing strategies
