SENIOR COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITER - SHORT-TERM INSURANCE
A well-established short-term Insurance Brokerage in
Somerset West
is looking to recruit a Senior Commercial Underwriter.Std 10/Grade 12, NQF level 4 accreditation including RE5 certificate Up-to date CPD points Minimum 5 years short term commercial and personal underwriting experience Experience in marine underwriting will strengthen your application Knowledge of CIMS 360 will strengthen your application Computer skills (all MS office packages, especially excel) Time management skills (planning and organising) Excellent admin skills, accuracy and detail orientated Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Continued employment is subject to continued FAIS accreditation Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player Service existing portfolio of commercial, personal and marine clients Ensure compliance with the company underwriting guidelines Negotiate terms with underwriters on renewals, quotes and on new business Underwrite and accept risks from existing and prospective clients and issuing thereof Assisting with adhoc administration as requested by management
Salary commensurate with experience.
The employment package includes a medical aid contribution and a provident fund contribution.
