Our client is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support governance and compliance across all Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) aspects of the business and IT landscape.
The role focuses on defining, regulating, and evolving enterprise and solution architectures through reusable reference architectures, architecture principles, and guidelines. The successful candidate will assist teams with cloud architecture, integration architecture, and infrastructure as code while enabling alignment with technology strategy and architectural standards.

Product / Team Context
The role operates within Enterprise Architecture disciplines, covering business, application, integration, and technical architecture. The focus includes governance and compliance, reference architectures, product catalogues, target enterprise architectures, architecture principles, guidelines, and IT asset management.
The team regulates, defines, empowers, inspects, and evolves enterprise architecture through verified and reusable architectural standards, supporting efficiency, stability, and consistent architectural thinking across the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent certification
• Java Certification
• Cloud Certification

Essential Skills & Technologies

• In-depth understanding of Azure infrastructure and services
• In-depth understanding of Terraform Infrastructure as Code scripting
• Azure VNET configuration between services
• Monitoring tools in Azure
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Ability to evaluate technology options and determine appropriate technology stacks
• Programming knowledge (Java, SQL, Python)
• Docker / containerisation experience
• ApigeeX experience
• AWS Glue Jobs experience
• Ability to interpret best practices into actionable steps
• Knowledge transfer through documentation and in-person engagement
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Ability to quickly learn internal tools and languages to advise on integration methodologies
• Strong communication skills with internal teams and management

Advantageous Skills

• Use of Agile toolsets (Confluence, Jira)
• Knowledge of AI / LLM cloud technologies and trends
• Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision
• Azure Power Platform knowledge
• Kafka streaming knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teams with migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure using approved blueprinted technologies
• Understand and implement supplied cloud platforms and services
• Create C4 architecture diagrams for cloud solutions
• Design and document integration architectures across business domains
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integration scenarios, application architecture, and processes
• Create and maintain Terraform IaC templates for Azure and AWS infrastructure
• Create and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and project managers
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues
• Ensure timely resolution of issues with minimal business disruption
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud and data architecture
• Proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency
