Job Description

Performs tasks/ activities associated with the transportation of material/ equipment and personnel
to/ from work sites, conducting and reporting outcomes/ progress determined through inspection/
tests and/ or observations concluded at specific locations, attending to the recording/ processing
and/ or updating of information and checking, counting and issuing of material from the Depot
Store
Key Responsibility Areas
Performs specific tasks/ activities at the Depot prior to and on completion of allocated
maintenance assignments
Conducts inspections and report on outcomes prior to, during and on completion of
maintenance work at specific work sites
Completes internal transactional documentation (e.g. tally sheets, log sheet, progress
report, etc.) and related forms (vehicle checklist)
Provides support to the Depot Clerk in respect of specify activities associated with the
receipting, issuing and movement of material/ items

Essential Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
Valid motor vehicle driving license
1 Year relevant experience
Computer Literacy
Preferred Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and an Administrative certificate
2 Years relevant experience
