Lead strategy development, commercial opportunity identification, and drive cost savings on Engineering, logistics and plant services.
Execution of Engineering, logistics, plant services and ED sourcing, the management of ongoing supply and monitoring of suppliers.
Adhering to internal authorisation mandates.
Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate payment terms and manage associated logistical requirements.
Update of pricing and contracts in Maximo.
Monthly compilation of reports, preparation and submission of dashboards.
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Purchasing / Supply Chain / Commerce/ Engineering.
At least 7 to 10 years in Procurement, plant engineering or Commercial role.
Specific contract negotiation experience and contract formulation / drafting experience.
High energy levels to engage potential suppliers and to develop plant relationships.
Strategic negotiating ability/skills that can be substantiated / verified.
Good administrative skills, attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and manage several tasks simultaneously.
Good people and communication skills, written and oral. (Records of presentations where / what Advantageous.)
Team player with the ability to influence peers in procurement, manufacturing and logistics areas.
