Description: Our client in Cape Town are looking for a Senior CAM Engineer to Serves as the technical interface between the Company, its customers and suppliers; by applying Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software engineering methods, theories and techniques in the investigation and solution of technical issues; to ultimately ensure a seamless manufacturing process. Provide customers with advice and guidance on design optimization; pursuant to the Company's objective of revenue growth, profitability and achieving the desired customer experience. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance customer service, increase sales & efficiency and the overall profitability of the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

xefx82xa7 Grade 12 qualification supported by 8-10 years' experience in a similar role in the electronics industry.
xefx82xa7 Relevant technical/ engineering qualification would be advantageous.
xefx82xa7 Thorough understanding of; and hand on experience in PC Board' manufacturing processes.
xefx82xa7 Good customer service skills.
xefx82xa7 Proven commercial acumen.
xefx82xa7 Good prioritising and time management ability.
xefx82xa7 Familiarity with CAM software to at least intermediary level of competence.
xefx82xa7 An understanding of ERP systems.
xefx82xa7 Written and spoken fluency in English.
xefx82xa7 High degree of professionalism.
xefx82xa7 Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products.
