is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to produce accurate drawings within tight deadlines. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure, demonstrate excellent time-management skills, work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong communication and listening skills. The incumbent will be required to work from any of our offices located across South Africa.

Requirements:

AutoCAD Draughtsperson required for electrical designs for substations, reticulation networks, overhead line designs, and underground networks. At least 15 years' experience in the electrical industry or a closely related field. Experience in draughting services. Experience in quantity measurements from electrical designs. Experience in structural drawings for buildings. Familiarity with South African electrical codes and standards. AutoCAD certified/qualified. MicroStation certified/qualified. Good skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages, specifically Word and Excel. Exposure to the following software packages would be advantageous, but not essential: Relux, NETPLAN, APX-GIS, Civil 3D.

Draughting of electrical diagrams, general arrangements, single-line diagrams, and other electrical documents required for substations, reticulation networks, and overhead lines. Draughting of structural building drawings. Quantification of equipment from design documentation (Bill of Quantities). Draughting in AutoCAD and MicroStation software packages. Setting up documentation using the Microsoft Office suite of software packages. Work Level
