We are seeking a skilled C# .NET Core Developer to join our growing development team. You'll work on cutting-edge applications and contribute to innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced C# .NET Core Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications(MVC) and APIs.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for writing clean, efficient code.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Programming- Design, develop, and maintain MVC web applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ Build RESTful APIs and web services following best practices Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with proper documentation Implement business logic and data access layers Develop responsive web interfaces using modern front-end technologies Architecture & Design- Participate in system architecture decisions and technical design reviews Follow SOLID principles and design patterns Implement microservices architecture where appropriate Ensure application performance, security, and scalability Database & Data Management- Design and optimize database schemas (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Write efficient SQL queries and stored proceduresTesting & Quality Assurance Implement integration and end-to-end testing Debug and troubleshoot applications across different environments Collaboration & Communication- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required QualificationsTechnical Skills

Minimum 3-5 yearsof professional experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles Proficiency in ASP.NET Core Web API development Solid knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server preferred) Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation Experience with version control systems (Git) Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHPDevelopment Practices Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and code quality Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Technical Skills Experience with microservices architecture Understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns Knowledge of security best practices and authentication Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of formal education Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are a plus

Package and Pay

R22,500 to R25,000, depending on proven experience.

This is not a remote-working role; we are looking for someone able and willing to work in our Umhlanga Ridge office.
