Are you a skilled procurement professional with a passion for precision and quality? Join our dynamic team in the marine manufacturing industry, where you'll play a critical role in sourcing and procuring materials for the production of world-class custom-built catamarans.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure all raw materials, components, and supplies required for new projects and production. Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers, fostering long-term relationships. Negotiate competitive prices, delivery terms, and contracts to meet budget and timeline requirements. Ensure all purchased materials meet the company's quality standards and specifications. Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with production schedules. Collaborate with the design and production team to anticipate material needs and mitigate supply chain risks. Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management.
Basic Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or marine industry. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Creating and maintaining bill of materials. Excellent understanding of inventory management and production scheduling. Knowledge of the foreign and South African supply chain landscape, including local and international sourcing. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office is essential. Knowledge in procurement packages such as Sage advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is advantageous.
