Senior buyer (heavy manufacturing)
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics. Minimum 5 years' in direct material purchasing and management with strategic sourcing experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment of which 3 years must be in a leadership role. Sourcing experience in Asia is preferred. Logistical experience related to imports and exports advantageous. responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services for the company. The Senior Buyer seeks the best available supplier delivery performance (quality, lead time, OTD and service) for the lowest price within the local and international supply chain network. The person will evaluate and manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and review suppliers delivery performance. The Senior Buyer is member of the Group Supply Chain team and is responsible for Supply Chain strategy implementation in South Africa. R1050000 CTC PA
