Job Description


About the role:

The incumbent will collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and ensure the optimal integration of processes, people, and technology required for an effective and efficient end-to-end business model.

Essential functions of the job:

Lead the development of processes for measuring program efficiency, productivity, and performance to drive value and maximise return on investment.

Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and ensure the optimal integration of processes, people, and technology required for an effective and efficient end-to-end business model.

Lead the analysis, research, design, and implementation of innovative and cost-effective cross-functional business processes.

Evaluate processes against industry best practices.

Identify areas for improvement during the definition and deployment stages.

Lead and manage JAD/KAIZEN sessions with business and team members.

Identify and manage business process and system automation opportunities in Business Optix.

Manage process improvement requirements, and ensure that business needs and decisions are recorded for traceability purposes.

Assist with change request management.

Liaise with development departments to ensure process and system change requests are identified and addressed.

Ensure Companys SOP is aligned with ISO standards.

Provide day-to-day support to the business unit and team members.

Qualifications and experience:

A degree in Industrial Engineering, with five years experience in process engineering, preferably in the medical schemes or insurance industry,

OR

A certificate in Business or Process Analysis, with five to ten years in depth medical scheme systems and processes experience.

Skills and knowledge:

Develop and validate both As-Is and To-Be processes.

Simulation of data analysis skills.

Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and BPM software, preferably Business Optix.

Knowledge of medical aid and/or financial end-to-end flow.

Ability to work with and influence stakeholders to find acceptable solutions.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.

Good communication skills.

Analytical thinking.

Leadership skills,including interpersonal and team management skill.

Attention to detail.

Hybrid working arrangements is applicable to this position (certain days of the week is office based).
