The position requires a dynamic individual to become part of the Supply Chain Omnia group - the position will report into the COE in Supply Chain. The Snr Business Analyst will be responsible for tasks related to business analysis support and reporting, business processes improvement and projects leading to systems enablement.The successful candidate must be a team player and be able to handle stressful and difficult situations. The candidate must have good stakeholder management and supervisory skills, with ability to motivate themselves and their team members. They must have excellent communication skills and reporting skills, with adequate knowledge of ERP systems. The individual must exhibit a strong sense of urgency, strong commitment and work ethics, be able to prioritize tasks and must ensure the delivery of excellent customer service as per timelines. The role will be required to travel to Omnia sites is required from time to time.
Qualifications
BSC/BTech in B. Eng. (Industrial/ Chemical Engineering) or relevant equivalent
Experience
Must have experience as an all-round BA (data, systems, and business processes analysis)
Experience in various project management methods (Agile, Waterfall)
Change management
Good communication and collaboration skills
Engagement across stakeholders and ability to run requirements gathering sessions
At least 5+ years' experience with knowledge of business processes
Proficiency in the use of Data Analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI for data visualization and reporting
Duties
Evaluate business data with the primary goal of improving decision making processes in the organization
Data analysis to identify improvement opportunities
Translate business requirements into system specifications. Gather, interpret and document requirements (Business, functional and Technical)
Participate in the solution design process
Define the success criteria, document test cases, and provide support across the test environment
Project Management (Implementation and setup of systems & Quality assurance and testing)
Provide assistance to solution delivery on implementation and training
Business processes and systems analysis and improvement
Managing improvement projects and change impact on stakeholders
