Senior Bookkeeper - Manufacturing (Bath & Body Products)

We're looking for a

highly experienced and dependable Senior Bookkeeper

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a

manufacturing environment

, preferably within the

bath, body, or cosmetics industry

, and be confident managing the full accounting function -- from daily processing and reconciliations to management reporting, compliance, and cost tracking.

You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring production costs, and supporting management with meaningful financial insights that drive profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all bookkeeping functions Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and cash flow reports Manage creditor and debtor control accounts Process payments, and reconciliations Handle VAT submissions and ensure compliance with SARS requirements Process and reconcile payroll, including PAYE, UIF, and statutory returns Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost allocations Maintain asset registers and depreciation schedules Provide management with financial analysis and insights for decision-making BOM's (Manufacturing)

Requirements:

Minimum 8-10 years bookkeeping experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and SARS compliance Proficiency in [QuickBooks / Xero / Meshed360] Excellent Excel and reporting skills High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Annual Salary Package: R300,000
