Contract Opportunity: Senior Bookkeeper
We are a small accounting practice based at Imhoff Farm Business Park, Kommetjie, seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper who is looking for additional work on a contract basis.
The successful candidate must have their own laptop and be available to work in-office initially for training, after which the role can be performed remotely.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 10 years' proven experience as a self-managed Bookkeeper, from Trial Balance to Balance Sheet. SARS eFiling and tax experience advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage One, Sage Payroll & SimplePay) and MS Excel.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Ethics: High level of integrity and professional standards.
