A firm of Chartered Accountants based in Century City requires the services or a Bookkeeper to balance sheet.
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Qualification
Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
Skills and Experience
Must have minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience in processing, analysing and capturing cashbook, creditors and debtors invoices
Books to Balance Sheet for companies and trusts
Accuracy and a good understanding of reconciliations is essential
Completion and submission of PAYE/UIF/SDL/WCA
Completion and submission of VAT returns
Software Packages
Strong Pastel Partner and Xero working experience essential
Strong VIP Payroll Experience essential
Caseware advantageous - Drafting of financials
Greatsoft will be an added advantage
Microsoft Office, must have good knowledge and experience specifically Excel
Advanced computer skills
Further requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience at a firm of Chartered Accountants advantageous
A passion for service excellence with ability to maintain high standards of professionalism with clients
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
Detail orientated, accurate and able to multi-task and adapt with change
Organised, efficient and able to maintain composure under pressure
Must have own transport
