My client has over 26 years in the in the distribution industry, distributing not only locally but throughout Africa catering to industries such as wholesalers, retailers, contractors and the DIY industry with a Level 2 BBBEE status. The chosen incumbent will be responsible for the cash book, creditors (GRV, Monthly Reconciliations) and Debtors (Reconciliation, Statements), general Ledger (Reconciliations, Journals) and Monthly Management Financials, salaries & Wages, momentum (Reconciliation & Submission), complete tax forms (e.g. VAT returns) and VAT (Schedule/Reconciliation, Submission), inventory (Prices - Rebates), bookkeeping to the trial balance stage, create reports and financial statements, process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
Qualification and Skills Required:
- Matric or Ndip Financial Accounting
- Bookkeeping Qualification
- 1-3 years experience.
- Experience in the Manufacturing and distribution industry advantageous.
