Our client is a leader in advanced engineering solutions, seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Boilermaker. In this critical role, you will ensure the integrity and safety of high-pressure vessels and molten metal containers.



Salary: R17,500 to R21,000 per month depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, and install steel structures, furnaces, ladles, and pressure vessels. Perform advanced welding and metal shaping techniques to precise specifications. Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failure points. Diagnose problems and determine effective repair methodologies. Ensure all work meets stringent industry safety and quality standards. Verify installations can withstand extreme heat, stress, and pressure. Strictly adhere to and promote safety protocols (OHS Act), especially for high-risk work. Coordinate with the Site Foreman and team to ensure seamless operations. Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment (e.g., grinders, torches, rigging gear).

Minimum Requirements:

Mandatory Red Seal Boilermaker (Welder) certification. NQF Level 4 or higher. 10+ years' experience with pressure vessels and molten metal containers in heavy industry (mining, smelting, power stations). Expert proficiency in welding, fabrication, and interpreting complex technical drawings. Strong metallurgical knowledge of metal behaviour under stress and heat. Physically capable with excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. * Unwavering commitment to safety standards and procedures.
