Our client is a prestigious architecture and design firm based in Sandton, Johannesburg, renowned for delivering innovative and sophisticated designs in the high-end and international hospitality sector. With a reputation for excellence and creativity, they are seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Manager to lead and oversee BIM operations across multiple complex projects.
Role Overview
As the Senior BIM Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation, development, and oversight of BIM processes and standards across the firm. You will collaborate closely with the architectural team and manage a team of BIM and Revit professionals, ensuring smooth project delivery and high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the firm's BIM strategy, workflows, and protocols across all architectural projects
• Manage and mentor a team of BIM Coordinators and Revit users
• Oversee BIM implementation for complex, high-end hospitality projects
• Ensure compliance with international BIM standards and project requirements
• Facilitate interdepartmental coordination and model integration
• Troubleshoot Revit and BIM-related issues across the studio
• Conduct training and continuous improvement workshops for staff
• Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration between design and BIM

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years' experience in BIM Management within an architectural practice
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit and strong understanding of other BIM tools
• Proven experience working on high-end or large-scale hospitality projects (local and/or international)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Ability to manage workflows and collaborate in a fast-paced, design-focused environment
