Job Description

We are a premium bicycle retail store with an in-house repair workshop, selling bikes, parts, and accessories. With two thriving stores in Cape Town and a third on the way, we're looking for an experienced, professional, and passionate senior technician to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service, and repair high-end road, mountain, gravel, and e-bikes

Manage workshop workflow and junior mechanics

Build bikes to spec from the box or frame up

Maintain workshop tools, inventory, and cleanliness

Provide technical advice to customers and sales staff

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service


Minimum Requirements:

3+ years of bicycle workshop experience

(preferably in a high-end or race-service environment) Proven experience working with

electronic shifting systems (Di2, AXS, EPS)

and

hydraulic brakes

Strong mechanical knowledge across road, MTB, and e-bikes Ability to train and supervise junior technicians Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with customers

Must be

legally able to work in South Africa

Drivers license
Preferred:

Experience with BOSCH, Shimano STEPS, or other e-bike diagnostic systems Wheel building/truing skills Cytech or similar technical certifications Familiarity with POS and workshop booking systems (eg. Lightspeed, Vend, HubTiger)
