Job Summary

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Senior Auditor (Still in Articles) to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled consultant who will assist in finding the best possible position for career growth.

As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits and reviews of financial statements in accordance with professional standards. You will also assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for improving internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of financial statements in accordance with professional standards.
• Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
• Perform analysis of financial data to identify areas of risk and potential improvement.
• Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and processes.
• Collaborate with team members to complete audit assignments within designated timeframes.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant auditing standards and regulations.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Currently in the articles of clerkship process and studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
