Purpose of the Job

To provide business analysis and financial support that enables management to make cost effective business decisions and preparation of management reports.

What you'll have done before:

Baseline:

• NQF Level 7 (Degree: Commerce)
• 4 years accounting experience at a Specialist Level
• 2 years' experience in Supply Chain
• Exceptional SAP and Advanced Excel skills

Advantageous:

• CA (SA)
• Cost Accounting experience
• 2 years Analytics
• Experience and knowledge of the ETRM System

• Tight Month end and Year end deadlines
• Working across various teams
• Working and reconciling large data sets
• Understanding of the imports and local supply process

What you'll be doing:

Planning & Reporting:

• Collate financial and operational information across Supply Chain including cash flow forecasting and volume and margins reporting

Financial Accounting:

• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (Vendor and Customer); Posting of required m/end GL journal entries; Cash flow management and reporting to treasury for imports and supply deals; Tracking of secondary fees for payment.

Team leading:

• Guide other team members on deliverables when required

Project Analysis and Evaluation:

• Evaluate financial and non-financial benefits for identified projects
