Job Description
The main objective of the position is to ensure to perform efficient and high standard maintenance as laid out in the SACAA CATS and CARS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring effective aircraft maintenance in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance manuals
- Manage and control workflow processes
- Control tools, equipment, parts and consumables
- Control subcontractors
- General house-keeping practices
- Carry out all additional tasks related to audit and planning processes
- Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High levels of responsibility
- Professional approach towards allocated duties
- Self-disciplined and stress tolerant
- Systematic and well organized
- Ability to adapt (being flexible) to working conditions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to cope with large volumes of work
Education:
- Grade 12
- Licensed AME (Airframe/Engines Category A and C)
- Relevant Type/Course ratings
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 3-5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer on King Air 200/300/350, Beech 1900C/D, Pratt and Whitney SMALL/LARGE PTxc3x82 Series engines
- Ability to work overtime and travelling (away base maintenance may be required)
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s license and own reliable transport
- Valid passport
