Job Purpose

Involvement in all aspects of ambient air quality impact assessments, including coordination of air quality monitoring, compilation of emission inventories, atmospheric dispersion modelling, and regulatory reporting.

Qualification & experience

BSc Honours in Natural Sciences, Earth Sciences or related filed

Minimum 3 years in the air quality field

Consulting experience

Experience with report writing and data

analysis

Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Manage and plan fieldwork, and meet all health & safety obligations, incorporating SLR and client requirements.

Process and format ambient monitoring data, inclusive of meteorological, dust fallout, particulate matter and gas monitoring data.

Compile ambient air quality monitoring reports.

Compile emission inventories and run dispersion models (software examples, TANKS, Land GEM, AERMOD).

Compile Air Quality Impact Assessments and Air Quality Management Plans.

Project management, including financial, health & safety, logistics and team management.
