Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education and Department of Secondary and Post-School Education invite suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
Main Objectives
Overall responsibility to the HoDs for administration and financial administration in the Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education and the Department of Secondary and Post-School Education.
Will manage the administrative and support staff of the two departments, including the resource centre support staff, ICT support technician (concerning their responsibilities within the department), and temporary and permanent administrative staff working in research and teacher development projects in the departments.
Responsible for the management of student and academic administration, management of the quality maintenance processes (including examinations and marks), and overall responsibility for the administration and maintenance of the departmental buildings and assets.
The Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree (NQF level 7) or equivalent with approximately 3 years' relevant experience, where such experience includes: -
Previous administrative experience within a computerised environment includes good organisational and planning skills, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
