+ Ensuring that all assessments are accurately uploaded and accessible via the Learning Hub.
+ Supporting students during assessments and managing incidents or technical issues.
+ Maintaining meticulous records, tracking assessment submissions, and following up on outstanding grades.
+ Preparing and coordinating supplementary and Director's concession assessments.
Liaising and Moderating
+ Serving as the key contact for Faculty, students, and moderators on all assessment-related matters.
+ Coordinating the full moderation process: appointment, training, document collection, and reporting.
+ Ensuring policy compliance and managing logistics for internal and external moderation.
Assessment Administration Office Coordination
+ Leading performance and planning sessions to improve processes.
+ Providing input into strategic decision-making regarding assessment operations.
Marks and Academic Records Management
+ Managing the accurate and timely upload of all interim and final marks.
+ Administering the Leave of Absence (LOA) process and applications for extra time.
+ Coordinating graduation processes and ensuring alignment with SU's academic timelines.
Quality Assurance and Security
+ Ensuring that all assessment processes comply with Stellenbosch University's policies and standards.
+ Promoting integrity, security, and consistency in assessment administration.
+ Monitoring and reporting on incidents, violations, and student conduct during assessments.
Stakeholder Support and Client Services
+ Providing timely advice and support to academic and professional staff on assessment policies and procedures.
+ Maintaining regular and professional communication with students, programme coordinators and all stakeholders.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes A completed post-school qualification (a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent).
At least five years' relevant administrative experience in a higher education or a similar environment.
Proven ability to support academic processes at mid to senior administrative levels.
Excellent computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and digital learning platforms.
Sound verbal and written communication skills in English.
