Senior Accountant (Tzaneen) Finance/Admin
Mpumalanga - South Africa
ENVIRONMENT:
A Supply Chain Specialist in Tzaneen, focused on building long-term sustainability, seeks the numerical expertise of a Senior Accountant whose core role will be to maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures and management of all internal processes. You will also ensure compliance with insurance and financial policies, processes and procedures, manage Debtors & Creditors accounts and statement analysis while preparing monthly management accounts. The successful incumbent must possess a BCom with a Financial Accounting major, post-articles, have 5 years Finance experience, IFRS and a solid understanding of IIT, SQL databases and Advanced Excel skills.
DUTIES:

• Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures and management of all internal processes.
• Compliance of insurance and financial policies, processes and procedures.
• Management of intercompany loan accounts.
• Manage Debtors and Creditors accounts and statement analysis.
• Prepare information for Exco and Board presentations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts investigate variances to budget and KPIs.
• Assist with annual and interim budgets and cash flow management.
• Comply with statutory regulations and ensure timeous payments of statutory returns.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BCom, with a Financial Accounting major, post-articles.
• 5 Years of finance experience.
• IFRS.
• Good understanding of IIT, SQL databases and Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills.
