Job Description
SFO, a Stellenbosch-based company specializing in Family Office Management is looking to appoint an experienced accountant with extensive corporate tax experience who can work accurately under pressure.
Available position: Accounting position,
SAIPA or SAICA
registered, with 3+ years experience.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT SAICA/SAIPA QUALIFIED
Function:
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Prepare financial statements which include complex tax calculations.
Process transactions in Xero, Pastel Partner and Pastel Online to trail balance Reconcile bank accounts and investment statements Prepare management statements and budgets Prepare audit files for auditors Reconcile VAT and complete and submit VAT201 via e-filing Register entities for Income Tax, VAT Prepare monthly invoices and levies Prepare financial statements in Draftworx
Further competencies required:
Good communication and interpersonal skills (English and Afrikaans) Proactive and deadline-oriented Responsible and accountable Attention to detail Excellent analytical/ problem-solving skills Up to date with corporate tax regulations
Please Note:
This is not a FD position; this position requires managing the accounting function for multiple clients, including basic processing. If you have not heard anything from us after 2 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
